What is the difference between HOT, WARM and COLD disaster recovery strategies?

High availability is closely related to Disaster Recovery strategies. Typically HA requires a “backup system” that is periodically (or immediately) refreshed to act as a “fall-back” system for use in planned or unplanned primary system outages. MSSi can offer a variety of HA options and solutions; including software replication (Mimix or iTera) or hardware replication (Power HA, SAN replication, or independent ASP).

Having this information readily available will allow MSSi staff to become productive in less time when issues arise. When your operations staff encounters issues, problems, or questions with which they are not prepared to overcome, MSSi will quickly assist with these operational issues by remotely experiencing the issues first hand, possibly while the issue is occurring.

MSSi can examine your system resources to determine if these resources are being utilized effectively, or determine that some resources are insufficient to meet the system workload.
